Noida Airport: Regarding land acquisition, officials said that FIR was registered after the district administration lodged a complaint on behalf of the accountant regarding illegal construction in Nagla Hukum Singh village under Rabupura police station area.

Noida Airport: The district administration has taken a major action in the case of illegal construction in the notified area earmarked for expansion of the International Airport in Jewar, Noida. A case has been registered against 28 villagers in Nagla Hukam Singh village in Rabupura police station area. The FIR was registered at Rabupura police station on Friday under sections 223 (disobedience to lawful order of a government servant) and 329(3) (criminal trespass and house-trespass) of the Indian Code of Justice (BNS) and sections 2 and 3 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984.

Land acquisition process still going on

Regarding the acquisition, officials said that this action has been taken after a complaint was lodged by the district administration on behalf of Lekhpal (Revenue Officer) Pratyush Rahi Pathak regarding illegal construction in Nagla Hukum Singh village under Rabupura police station area. According to the complaint, the process of acquiring about 1,182 hectares of land in Birampur, Dayanantpur, Ranhera, Mudharah, Kuraib and Karauli Bangar villages for the second phase of the Noida International Airport project is currently underway. It is being told that without the permission of the District Collector of Gautam Buddha Nagar, no sale, purchase or any new construction can be done on the notified land.

Also cause financial loss to the state treasury

At the same time, the police said in this case that after the administration issued repeated notices and instructions to stop the construction, the villagers continued illegal construction in an attempt to take advantage under the land acquisition and rehabilitation policy. He told that on Thursday, an FIR was registered against a villager Samayveer in the same police station in the same case. Regarding this matter, the district administration has said that such illegal constructions not only violate the rules of acquisition, but also cause financial loss to the state exchequer and weaken the government processes.
