The 72 -year -old former Prime Minister has been booked in several cases and has been in jail since August 2023, currently he has been kept in Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi. At the same time, in his application against Maryam and other officials, Imran in his letter to the police is not providing basic facilities in jail at his behest.
I am not being given basic facilities
Imran Khan said that on the instructions of the Chief Minister of Punjab, I am being denied basic facilities as a prisoner. He said that there is no light in the cell and accused of harassing my family members. He demanded an FIR against Mary and eight others to deprive basic facilities in jail. Earlier, Imran wrote in a social media post that while living in a seclusion imprisonment in jail, he is fighting for the true freedom of his country and will remain in the field till he does not free his people from chains.

He said that I was isolated once again. My family members and lawyers are not being allowed to meet. It is the effort of the people sitting in power that to keep me ignorant of contemporary events, it is being away from every source of information, whether it is television or newspaper… has been completely closed. Apart from this, he criticized the government and said that my wife Bushra Bibi is also being treated as inhuman. Now it is even done that my wife is not being allowed to meet me. Also, only three-four of the dozens of books sent by my family have been given, the rest of the books have been confiscated. Even my personal doctor is not being allowed to meet me and because of this my fundamental right of healthcare has also been erupted.
