UP: In Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, the brother of the accused involved in raping a minor girl killed the victim’s brother in revenge. The police have arrested the killer Sarfaraz. It is known that the body of the victim’s brother was recovered in a deserted area of Kamla Nehru Nagar on Saturday.
Sarfaraz is alleged to have called the girl’s brother to drink alcohol at a secluded place in Kamla Nehru Nagar on Friday and carried out the murder. Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Kumar said that during interrogation, Sarfaraz confessed to the murder and revealed that his purpose was to take revenge. The DCP said that the minor sister of the deceased was raped by Sarfaraz’s younger brother Manu in 2023. The court convicted Manu and is currently serving a 20 -year jail sentence.
The DCP said that Sarfaraz wanted to avenge his brother to be sent to jail. When the victim’s brother refused to compromise, Sarfaraz planned to take revenge. On Friday evening, he called the victim’s brother to a deserted place in Kamla Nehru Nagar to drink alcohol. While drinking alcohol, Sarfaraz picked up a big stone and killed the victim’s brother’s head and face and killed him. The DCP said that the blood stained stone has been recovered by the police.
