According to the information received by sources, the opposition parties agreed that the issue of special intensive revision (SIR) of the voter list in Bihar in the current monsoon session of Parliament is their priority and they also demanded discussion on it.

A senior opposition leader said that it was one of the best meetings in the block, where all parties had united. Another opposition leader said that MPs discussed campaigning to make people aware on this issue, using words like vote ban, vote theft and robbery of vote. At the same time, it was asked to submit documents to prove India’s citizenship under it.

In the meeting of India Block, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, TMC Rajya Sabha leader Derek O’Brien, DMK leader TR Balu and Triyuchi Shiva, Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav, Supriya Sule of NCP (SP), CPI (ML) John Britas and CPI of Liberation (ML) Raja Singh, KPP of CPI Senior leaders like Sandosh Kumar attended. At the same time, last week Derek O’Brien said that the opposition parties will discuss the option of organizing the siege of the Election Authority office. Opposition parties have alleged that this process will be deprived of many people, especially poor people, who will not have documents sought by the Election Commission.
