CM yogi adityanath: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Sunday that the communities who respect the valor and sacrifice of their ancestors are always alive in history. Addressing a Dharm Sabha at the Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha at Padleganj on the first Prakash Parv of Guru Granth Sahib, he said that Sikh Gurus dedicated their lives to protect Sanatan Dharma, Indian culture and nation. On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated tourism development works, upgradation of Gurdwara Bhavan and expansion of basic facilities. He also recited Guruvani with Sangat. Highlighting the tradition of Sikh Gurus, Adityanath said that from Guru Nanak Dev Ji to Guru Govind Singh Ji Maharaj, every Guru dedicated his life to protect the Sanatan Dharma and the nation. Whenever Indian culture came in crisis, Sikh Gurus stood firmly and protected it from their sacrifices.
Sikh gurus will continue to inspire the nation
CM Adityanath said that programs were organized from the Chief Minister’s residence in Lucknow to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji. He informed that Guruvani was also organized at the Chief Minister’s residence during the 550th Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev. Paying tribute to the four Sahibzadas of Guru Govind Singh, the Chief Minister said that his highest sacrifice is one of the most glorious chapters in Indian history. He said that Sahibzadas were given a live brick, yet he maintained his devotion to religion and nation. His sacrifice is one of the most glorious chapters in the history of India. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to celebrate 26 December as ‘Veer Children’s Day’ in honor of Sikh Gurus and described it as “a historical tribute to the sacrifice of Sikh Gurus”.
Life of Sikh Gurus dedicated to nation welfare
CM Adityanath said that the Padleganj Gurdwara has been a center of faith for the Sikh community for a long time, but earlier there was a lack of adequate facilities here. It has now been upgraded with the cooperation of the state government, so that devotees will be able to participate easily in Guruvani, langar and other religious programs. He underlined that a gurudwara welcomes everyone regardless of caste or community, which reflects the Sikh tradition and the universal message of Guruvani. The Chief Minister further stated that the three major gurdwaras of Gorakhpur ‘Jata Shankar, Mohdipur and Padleganj’ have been upgraded, which he described as a sign of gratitude towards Sikh Gurus. Adityanath reminded the attendees that on the same date 421 years ago, Guru Granth Sahib Ji was seated in Harmandir Sahib and accepted as Guru. He said that Sikh Gurus dedicated their lives to the welfare of nation, religion and humanity. Today our biggest duty is to live according to their teachings and protect the nation and religion.
