UNSC Meeting : After the Pahalgam attack, a close door meeting has been held due to increasing tension between India and Pakistan. This meeting has been held in the United Nations Security Council i.e. UNSC. The meeting was called when UN Secretary -General Antonio Guterres saw the tension between the two countries growing. At the same time, many important things happened in this meeting, but no special result came out.
General Secretary expressed concern
In this meeting, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said on the increasing tension of the two countries that the most tension between India and Pakistan is this time. At this time, the temporary member of the Security Council, Pakistan, appealed to a bandh discussion for this meeting. The meeting was not held in the main chamber of the Security Council, but in the ‘Consultation Room’ next to it, where there is usually confidential conversation in a closed room.

How long did the meeting take?
The meeting between India and Pakistan in a closed room in UNSC took place for about one and a half hours on Monday, which led to a lot of gritty of Pakistan. In this meeting, Pakistan’s permanent representative messenger Aseem Iftikhar said that what was the purpose of achieving the UNSC meeting has been fulfilled. He informed that in this meeting, Pakistan has also discussed the solution of the issue of Jammu and Kashmir.
What did Pakistan’s infinite Iftikhar say?
During this meeting held at UNSC, Pakistan made false statements to save itself. He said that India has described the move to suspend the Indus River Agreement as illegal, which is threatening the safety and peace of the entire region. At the same time, in the meantime, he tried to present Kashmir like a dispute. During this, he also raised questions about India’s action. He said that India has called off the attic border, reducing diplomatic relations further and his tough decision against terrorism has been very rigorous.
