International Film Festival from 20 March in Gorakhpur

In Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, a grand event of International Film Festival (IFFRS) is going to be held on religion and spirituality. Films will be performed from 20 to 22 March.

Lucknow: Gorakhpur residents will be witness to the three -day international film festival, during which they will be able to enjoy films, documents and short films. On this occasion, art lovers will also be able to see their famous artists and film directors. Actor Ravi Kishan will also give his special performances.

In Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, a grand event of International Film Festival (IFFRS) is going to be held on religion and spirituality. The festival held at Yogiraj Baba Gambhir Nath Auditorium from 20 to 22 March will showcase films showing humanity and divinity. The film festival is being organized by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department and organized by the Indian Infotainment Media Corporation (IIMC). Gorakhpur MP and film actor Ravi Kishan and famous film director Madhur Bhandarkar will participate in some special performances during the film festival. The program will be inaugurated by the screening of the Sheds of Uttar Pradesh, after which the Varanasi-S-Cit of Nirvana will be performed. The three -day film festival will make the experience of cine lovers special.

Admission for visitors will be free for visitors, so that viewers will be able to enjoy iconic films, documents and short films focused on religion and spirituality. On the first day of the International Film Festival on Dharma and Spirituality, films like Aghori, Amrit Manthan, Dashavatar, Buddha Circuit and Untold History-Kal Bhairav ​​will be performed. On the second day, the famous film director, producer and writer Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri will give a master class on filmmaking.

On this day, films like Naimish, Mahakumbh and India’s Grand Festival Durga Puja will be performed. On the last day of the film festival, casting director and producer Parag Mehta will give a master class on acting art. On this day, films like Discovery Varanasi, Mathura Vrindavan, Overall UP and UP-Hom of the Taj will be performed. The International Film Festival will conclude with an award ceremony, in which the best films will be honored.

State Tourism and Culture Minister Jayveer Singh said that there is no better medium than films to show these deep subjects. We believe that this festival will be helpful in promoting the spiritual heritage of Uttar Pradesh. The event will be a platform to show those films, which presents religion, culture and faith in a creative way.

Said that Gorakhpur has been the work place of Guru Gorakhnath and other saints, which is the most suitable place for such events. Said that the purpose of IFFRS is to provide platform to such stories, which go beyond the boundaries of culture and faith and present cinema as a bridge between spirituality and art.
