PAK Spy Arrested: Police had received secret information that Pakistani intelligence agents are misusing Indian mobile numbers. Investigation was started on the basis of this information.
Pak Spy Arrested: The Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested a person named Kasim from Deeng area of Bharatpur district of Rajasthan on charges of espionage. Qasim is accused of spying for Pakistan’s intelligence agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Investigation has revealed that Qasim visited Pakistan twice on the pretext of meeting Bua and stayed there for a total of 90 days, where he took espionage training with ISI.
Provide Indian SIM cards to Pakistani intelligence agents
According to Delhi Police, Qasim provided Indian SIM cards to Pakistani intelligence agents, which were used in India, especially to collect information related to Indian Army and Government offices. These SIM cards were being used in contacting Indian colleagues of ISI through WhatsApp.
Police had received secret information that Pakistani intelligence agents are misusing Indian mobile numbers. On the basis of this information, investigation was started, in which Kasim’s name came up. Investigation revealed that Qasim visited Pakistan in August 2024 and March 2025. During his second visit, he took training in espionage from ISI for a month.
Qasim arrested from Bharatpur
The Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested Qasim from Bharatpur and brought him to Delhi and produced in court, from where he was sent to police custody. A case has been registered against Qasim under the official Secrets Act (OSA). According to sources, Qasim is a Muslim cleric and was in touch with ISI handlers through encrypted messaging apps and social media.
Qasim’s brother also feared to have a relationship with ISI
Police said that Qasim’s brother is also expected to have a relationship with ISI, who is currently absconding. Investigation agencies are checking Kasim’s bank accounts and mobile phones so that its other colleagues and networks can be detected. This arrest is recently part of the widespread action against ISI -linked espionage network in India. In the last few weeks, more than 12 people have been arrested on charges of espionage in Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
