Lucknow: The police have registered a case of treason against folk singer Neha Singh Rathore. The complaint states that in view of Pahalgam tragedy, their inflammatory posts on social media can damage the unity of the country by targeting a particular community. The complainant had last week killed 26 people in Pahalgam, mostly tourists, who were allegedly murdered by terrorists after asking about their religious affiliation, which led to the whole country in mourning.
Neha spoke inflammatory on ‘X’: complainant
Social worker Abhay Pratap Singh, who complained, said that folk singer Neha Singh Rathore posted objectionable posts on her ‘X’ @nehafolksinger. “Baa Baa Baa Baa”, “Ba Ba Ba Ba?” And “What is in MP?” For example, Rathore, known for songs, said that the government wants to divert attention from “real issues”. A case has been registered against Neha Singh.

Complaint lodged at Hazratganj police station in Lucknow
