PM Modi to visit Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on Saturday and will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth about Rs 2,200 crore. PM Modi also shared posts related to his visit on social media platform X. In the post, he wrote, “August 2 is very special for my family members of Kashi. I will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many projects related to education, health, sports, tourism and connectivity at around 11 am. On this occasion, you will also get the privilege of releasing the 20th installment of PM-Kisan.”
Security system
Officials said that in view of the VVIP movement in the city, security arrangements have been tightened in Varanasi and multi-layered deployment of security personnel has been done on the Prime Minister’s movement. According to an official statement, Modi will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate several development projects worth about Rs 2,200 crore. These projects complete many areas – infrastructure, education, healthcare, tourism, urban development and cultural heritage etc. The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of various functions under the smart distribution project in his home constituency and the power of power infrastructure. Modi will also address a public meeting in Banoli (Kalika Dham) village of Sevapuri assembly constituency.
BJP worker in enthusiasm
Before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Varanasi, there is tremendous enthusiasm among BJP workers. Preparations for the reception in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi are going on loudly. The city roads are decorated with colorful posters and hoardings, in which PM Modi is depicted as ‘Yugpurush’ and ‘Shiva devotee’. In particular, in a poster, he was shown with ten hands, which shows his various welfare schemes such as Swachh Bharat Mission, Jan Dhan Yojana and Make in India. This poster has become a topic of discussion in areas like Lanka, Chitipur and Sarnath. BJP’s Kashi region president Dilip Patel said that workers are excited by the party’s victory in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. The PM will be given a grand welcome with drums, flowers rain and Shankhanad. CM Yogi Adityanath will also receive him at Babatpur Airport. Cleanliness campaign is being conducted in the city, and a waterproof pandal has been prepared at the public meeting. On August 2, the PM will inaugurate the foundation stone of Rs 2200 crore projects, which leads to a wave of happiness among the Kashiwasis.
