Due to cloudburst, 46 people have lost their lives here and the news of 160 people has come to light. During this time the rescue operation is going on here. There is still a seam of heavy rains, but despite this, the police, army, NDRF, SDRF and local people are trying to take out the people buried under the rubble.
Officials gave information
Regarding this matter, officials said that 46 bodies have been removed from the village of Chisoti affected by cloudburst. Many of these bodies have also been identified. Many people, including two CISF jawans, died in a severe flood due to cloudburst in a remote village of Kishtwar. He further informed that a WhatsApp group has been formed to identify the bodies, through which pictures of the victims are being shared with the affected families.
The number of dead may increase
Significantly, according to the officials, the number of dead may increase because more people are expected to be trapped in floods. He said that we have shared pictures of the dead bodies with him so that they can be identified.
