season 1
The story of the first season is set in the city of Hawkins in 1983. Here, amid supernatural experiments taking place in a secret lab, a path to another world, called Upside Down, accidentally opens. Meanwhile, a child named Will Byers goes missing. As his mother Joyce and Police Chief Hopper search for him, Will’s friends and his new companion Eleven take on a mission. On one side is the threat of Demogorgon, on the other side is the pursuit of government agencies. In the end Eleven kills the monster, but herself also disappears.

season 2
Will survives, but he is still afraid of the Upside Down. This time the danger is bigger and that is mind flare. Demodogs terrorize Hawkins and Will is once again captured. After a long battle, the gate closes and Hopper legally adopts Eleven. However, the Mind Flayer is still alive.
season 3
In 1985 the story takes a new direction. A Soviet base has been built beneath the city, which is trying to reopen the gates to the Upside Down. At the same time, this time the Mind Flayer makes Max’s brother Billy his living weapon. In the final fight in the mall, Billy saves everyone by sacrificing his life. season 4
11 has lost her powers as she tries to start life in a new city. On the other hand, a new villain Vecna enters Hawkins, who is opening new portals by killing children. It is eventually revealed that Vecna is actually Henry Creel, Dr. Brenner’s first Subject 001. That means it also has power of 11. Even after a long battle, Vecna does not die completely. Max returns from death, but goes into a coma. Destruction occurs in the city and the Upside Down slowly begins to take over Hawkins.
season 5
The story has now reached 1987. Vecna has returned and his power is greater than ever. The city is under quarantine, the army is searching for XI. The rest of the gang is coming together again for the final battle. In such a situation, the last season is going to be very special. Season 5 will not be released simultaneously, but in 2 parts. The first part will be streamed on Netflix from 27th November and the remaining episodes on 25th and 31st December.
