In such a situation, 30 people have died and dozens of people have been injured in Landslide on Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra route in Katra. Due to landslides in many places, debris has accumulated due to which the roads have been closed. During this time rescue operations are going on.
Roads closed due to heavy rains
Let us tell you here that due to the continuous heavy rains, many avenues have been disrupted in Jammu. In such a situation, the Northern Railway has canceled 22 trains and short-term 27 trains. These include 9 trains running from Vaishno Devi Base Camp. Due to such strong rains, the bridges in Jammu collapsed, electricity lines and mobile towers have suffered heavy losses.

It rained so much in some time
Significantly, Jammu received 22 cm of rain within about 6 hours. Although there was a decrease in the rain at night, which gave some relief to the district, but later it reached the boom again. Meanwhile, waterlogging was being seen in many places due to the floods due to heavy rains.

At the same time, the names of Reasi, Ramban, Doda, Bilawar, Katra, Ramnagar, Hiranagar, Gaol and Banihal are included. During this time, the Meteorological Department has advised people to be alert and also asked to go to security places. Many trains have been canceled due to heavy rains.
