Delhi AQI Today: The air of the capital Delhi is becoming more poisonous every day. Delhi has currently become the most polluted city in the country. Air pollution in the national capital was recorded in the “severe” category for the second consecutive day on Wednesday morning. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s average air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 414 at 9 am. The city witnessed its worst air quality this season on Tuesday, when the AQI reached the “severe” category at 423.

Talking about today, the average AQI of Delhi at 9 am on Wednesday is 414, which is very worrying. The highest AQI in Wazirpur is 458. Whereas 442 in Rohini, 431 in Alipur, 438 in Anand Vihar, 439 in Ashok Vihar, 439 in Burari Crossing, 449 in Chandni Chowk, 433 in ITO, 446 in Jahangirpuri, 441 in Mundka, 437 in Narela, 440 in Nehru Nagar, 429 in North Campus, Okhla Phase. 2, 436 in Patparganj, 437 in Punjabi Bagh, 409 in Pusa, 432 in RK Puram, 404 in Siri Fort, 434 in Sonia Vihar and 436 in Vivek Vihar. Talking about Delhi NCR, AQI in Noida is 377. 302 AQI was recorded in Ghaziabad and 366 in Gurugram.

Grap-3 implemented in Delhi

Considering the level of pollution in Delhi on Wednesday, Group 3 has been implemented. Under Group-3, classes will be conducted in hybrid mode in schools till class 5. Parents can also get their children online classes and send them to school. Apart from this, work from home has been advised in companies and construction has also been banned. Along with this, BS-3 and BS-4 petrol-diesel vehicles have been banned. Their entry cannot be done in the capital Delhi. To control dust, cleaning of roads and regular water sprinkling has been made mandatory.

Delhi weather

Meanwhile, the temperature in the city continues to fall since last week. The minimum temperature recorded on Wednesday was 10.4 degrees Celsius, which is 3.1 degrees less than the normal temperature of this season. According to India Meteorological Department, today the maximum temperature is likely to be around 27 degrees Celsius. The weather department has also predicted light fog during the day.
