Earlier, Pakistan Foreign Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb had said in the US capital Washington that he hoped that Pakistan would approve the financial assistance given by the IMF in the month of May. Earlier in July 2024, Pakistan made a 7 billion US dollar deal with IMF. Keeping this deal in mind, some reviews are yet to be done by the board, after which the amount will be provided.
