Mamata Banerjee on Durga Puja: Durga Puja of West Bengal is very famous all over India. Mother Durga is worshiped with great pomp at the time of Sharadiya Navratri. For this, big pandals are installed at various places. Many Durga Puja Committee have been formed in Bengal for this event. Whom the state government also gives grants. In this episode, BJP has attacked the announcement of Rs 1.1 lakh to the community committees by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
BJP accused
West Bengal BJP, Mamata Banerjee accused the government and said that she does politics of religion. Mamta Banerjee has announced a grant of Rs 1.1 lakh to the community Durga Puja committees on behalf of the government, for which the BJP has criticized them. BJP state general secretary Agnimitra Paul alleged that Mamta government is distributing donations by ignoring development.

Government is not job
Agnimitra Paul further said that it is not the government’s job to build a temple and grant for worship. He said that it shows what are the priorities of this government. Instead of building roads and generating employment opportunities, Mamata Banerjee is busy doing politics of religion. Now people of other communities will also demand that the government should also build a place of worship for them, like they built the Jagannath temple of Digha. Agnimitra Paul said that she wants the government to work towards improving the field of education, generating employment and improving the life of every citizen.
Warm opposition with CM’s announcement
Let us tell you here that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced on Thursday that her government has announced to give Rs 1.10 lakh to all of the 40 thousand Durga Puja committees across the state. At the same time, if you do the preparation of last year, then the government gave Rs 85,000 to every committees.
