During this time, the cabinet has approved four new semiconductor projects in Orissa, Punjab and Andhra Pradesh in the meeting. About 4594 crore rupees will be spent for this. At the same time, face 1B of Lucknow Metro has been approved. 5,801 crore rupees will be spent for this. Apart from this, Tato -II Hydroelectric Project 700 MW has been approved for which Rs 8146 crore will be spent.

Regarding this, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that four new semiconductor projects have been approved. He further said that 6 such projects have already been approved and today 4 new projects have been added to it. They are in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Punjab. They have to invest Rs 4,594 crore. He said that Lucknow is a big city. In view of the immense need of the metro here, an investment of Rs 5,801 crore has been approved to Phase 1B of Lucknow Metro.
