Mayawati raised questions on the honesty of Congress-SP

Mayawati News: BSP chief has once again targeted Samajwadi Party and Congress. He said that there is a lot of lack of political honesty in both the parties and it is quite disappointing to see the grand rally in Lucknow.

Mayawati News : Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Thursday accused Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP) of lack of political honesty. He said that BSP is the only party which is committed to the welfare and constitutional rights of marginalized communities. According to an official statement, while addressing a special meeting of the party’s Uttar Pradesh unit, he said that he urged all the party workers to put all their energy and resources into the preparations for the 2027 state assembly elections. He further said that the party aims to acquire the master key of political power and continue its legacy of social and economic liberation.

Opposition parties defeated after seeing the crowd

Apart from this, during the meeting, Mayawati expressed her gratitude to the party officials and workers for the historic success of the grand rally organized at the Kanshi Ram Memorial site in Lucknow on October 9, on the 19th death anniversary of the BSP founder. Referring to this huge rally, the BSP chief said that the historic crowd of people who came in trains, private buses, small vehicles and even on foot showed the unwavering commitment towards the Bahujan Samaj Party. He said that after seeing this huge crowd, the leaders of the opposition parties indulged in petty politics by alleging that government buses had been arranged to showcase this event. After these allegations from the opposition parties, their frustration is clearly visible.

Name changed after coming into government

The former Chief Minister of UP expressed gratitude to the state government for accepting the written demand of BSP that the money received from the sale of tickets should be used for the maintenance of the monuments and parks built during the BSP rule and developed as tourist destinations in Lucknow. Mayawati further said that this reflects the political honesty and goodwill of BSP, whereas such values cannot be appreciated by Samajwadi Party and Congress because political honesty is not in their character. Criticizing the SP government, he said that it was because of its casteist mentality that it neglected the monuments built during the BSP government. Also, the names of new districts, universities, colleges, hospitals and other institutions established in the honor of great saints, gurus and social reforms of the Bahujan community were changed. Mayawati said that if the then SP government had not taken such steps, perhaps her name would have been saved from being recorded in the black pages of history.
