Sawan somwar 2025: The month of Sawan is considered to be the most sacred for the worship of Lord Shiva, and Monday also has special significance. The last Monday of Sawan is falling on 4 August 2025. On this day, devotees keep fast, offer water on the Shivling and pleased Bholenath by mixing divine items in Jalabhishek to get special fruits.

- Brahma Muhurta: 04:20 to 05:02 in the morning
- Abhijeet Muhurta: 12:00 to 12:54 pm
- Vijay Muhurta: from 02:42 to 03:36 pm
- Amrit period: 05:47 to 07:34 pm

Ganges water
Ganga water is considered a symbol of purity and salvation. During the Kavad Yatra, devotees bring Ganga water and consecrate Shivling. On the last Monday, offering Ganga water mixed with water, provides freedom from all sins and positive energy comes in life.

Sandalwood
Sandalwood is a symbol of coolness, aroma and positivity. Mixing some sandalwood in water and offering it on Shivling leads to peace, joy and good fortune in life. It also removes mental stress.
