Ram temple

The biggest achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi include the construction of Ram temple. If the achievements are talked about, then the name of the Ayodhya Ram temple will first be included in it. The Ram temple was built under Modi’s leadership. After about 550 years, when the Supreme Court ruled, the Modi government worked fast towards the construction of Ram temple and on January 22, 2024, Ram Lala sat in his sanctum sanctorum. Not this, Modi ji also built the corridor in Kashi Vishwanath in Varanasi during his tenure.
Triple talaq

On the other hand, the decision of triple talaq is a remarkable job for Muslim women. If the second biggest achievement and bold step of PM Modi’s tenure will be discussed, then the name of triple talaq will definitely be included in it. Under Modi’s leadership, the central government gave Muslim women freedom from the brunt of triple talaq. Ravi Shankar Prasad, the then law minister, introduced the Muslim Women (Protection of Marriage Rights) Bill, 2019 in the Lok Sabha on 21 June 2019. The Modi government gave it the form of law and also made a provision of punishment in it by abolishing the practice of triple talaq. This decision made Modi even stronger.
Article 370

Talking about the third most historical decision of Narendra Modi’s tenure, Article 370 is to be removed from Jammu and Kashmir. Jammu and Kashmir had special status from Section 370. Even while living in the country, there used to be a separate rule and flag. But after this decision of the Modi government, special status ended and it was made a union state.
Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA)

The Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) has been a historic decision of the Modi government since triple talaq. When this bill was passed, people had put a pile of rumors, but the truth was something else. This bill does not directly affect Muslims. Muslim organizations in the country strongly opposed this law. Violence also took place in UP against this law. The police also had to fire. Due to the purpose of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) passed in December 2019, citizenship was to be given to Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis and Christian refugees from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Muslims were excluded from the purview of this law, after which the Muslims had strongly opposed this and described this law as divisive and discriminatory. CAA was passed on December 9, 2019 and passed on December 11, 2019, after which both violent and peaceful protests took place across the country. Muslim organizations connected this law with the National Civil Register (NRC) without understanding. Due to this, insecurity spread in the Muslim community, there were widespread demonstrations across the country. The Muslim community and the opposition considered this law discriminatory and said that this law defines citizenship on the basis of religion.
Uniform Civil Code (UCC)

Uniform Civil Code (UCC) has been an important agenda of the Bharatiya Janata Party government. BJP has often mentioned it in its manifesto. At the central level, the UCC has not yet made a law, but the Modi government has expressed intention to implement it. BJP ruled Uttarakhand has implemented UCC. At the same time, Gujarat is preparing to implement this law. CM Bhupendra Patel has formed a committee to assess the need of this law there. The UCC takes a uniform stance for all religions, even if it is a matter related to marriage, divorce, succession. The government argues that UCC will promote gender equality and national unity. It is also mentioned in Article 44 of the Constitution. But Muslim organizations, especially AIMPLB, described it as an attack on Muslim Personal Law (Sharia) and said that this law is encroachment in religious rights.
Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2025

Now after these steps, Narendra Modi’s government has passed the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2025 in both houses. The bill was first introduced in the Lok Sabha in August 2024, but to improve the management and assets of the Waqf Board, it contains provisions like including non-Muslim members, property survey and transparency. At the same time, the central government argued that the purpose of this law is to prevent corruption and misuse in Waqf properties and also benefit women and backward Muslims.
What will be BJP’s next agenda

Let us tell you that the Bharatiya Janata Party has a bundle of agenda. Whose political religious and social effects also have on the common people. At the same time, the issue of Mathura and Varanasi is similar. Dattatreya Hosbale, the leader of the Sangh, has recently given such indications from his statement. However, this issue has not been included by the Bharatiya Janata Party in its manifesto but soon wants a solution to it.
Complete implementation of Uniform Civil Code (UCC)

Uniform Civil Code (UCC) means that uniform civil law is to be implemented for all citizens in India, whether their religion, caste, gender or community are anything. This code advocated it to bring an integrated legal structure by eliminating individual laws for different religious communities in matters like marriage, divorce, succession, adoption and property. The idea of UCC is taken from Article 44 of the Constitution, directing the state to “try to implement a uniform civil code for citizens”. At the same time, with its implementation in Uttarakhand, preparations are being made in Gujarat.
National civil register

The National Register of Citizens (NRC) is an official register in India, in which information related to the name and identity of the valid citizens of the country is recorded. Its main objective is to identify illegal migrants and make them out of the country. Let us tell you that Assam is the only state where NRC has been updated. This process started in 2013 on the direction of the Supreme Court and the final NRC list was published on 31 August 2019.
