The ceremony will highlight the continuous development of the country as a rich, safe and confident India and confirm his resolve to move forward on the path of progress. This year, the Independence Day celebrations will be coordinated by the Indian Air Force (IAF). Flying officer Rashika Sharma will help in hoisting the tricolor to the Prime Minister. 21 cannon salutes will be given with flag hoisting, after which national salute will be given. The national anthem of the Air Force will be played while hoisting the national flag.
For the first time, 11 Agniveer will share the band playing the national anthem
For the first time, 11 Agniveer musicians will be part of the band playing the national anthem. The 79th Independence Day will be celebrated on 15 August 2025. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the national flag at the Red Fort in Delhi and will address the nation. This time the theme is ‘New India’. Modi will address the nation for the 12th consecutive time from the ramparts of Delhi’s Red Fort. PM Modi will give the vision of India to the international fraternity with his address. Also, the entire address will be dedicated to the bravery of the army. This year, 11 Agniveer will participate in the band playing the national anthem for the first time. Also, Operation Sindoor on Invitation Card (Operation Sindoor) There will also be a watermark of the logo and Chenab Bridge. Which reflects the rise of ‘New India’. 128 soldiers will salute at the time of hoisting the tricolor. The National Flag Guard Team, which will include one officer of Army, Navy, Air Force and Delhi Police and 32 other rank personnel, a total of 128 soldiers will give national salutes at the time of the Prime Minister’s national flag.

Wing commander Tarun Dagar will take charge of this inter service guard and police guard. Major Prakash Singh, the command of the army contingent in the National Flag Guard, Lieutenant Commander Mohammad Parvez and Air Force contingent will be handled by Squadron Leader VV Sharavan. Additional DCP Abhimanyu Poswal will command the Delhi Police contingent. Junior Warrant Officer will operate the M Deka Band. The decoration of flowers will also be on the theme of operation vermilion. This year, the success of Operation Sindoor will be celebrated during the Independence Day celebrations. There will be a logo of Operation Sindoor on the view cutter on the Jnanpath. Flower decoration will also be based on operation.

Apart from this, there will also be a watermark of Chenab Bridge on the invitation letters, which shows the rise of ‘New India’. The Prime Minister will address the nation after the rain of flower petals. At the conclusion of the speech, the Cadet of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and the ‘Mera Bharat’ volunteer will sing the national anthem.
