At the same time, an orange alert of heavy rains has been issued in many districts of Purvanchal.
Heavy rains may occur in these districts
The districts where heavy rains are expected in UP today include the names of Barabanki, Gonda, Ayodhya, Rae Bareli, Amethi and Sultanpur. IMD has advised people to stay at home.

How long will the rains remain?
It is believed that the rain is going to be a period of rain in the state till September 19. During this time, there will be a process of light rain and sunlight in western UP. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no significant change in the maximum temperature of the state for the next 5 days.
