Weather Update: IMD has issued an alert on heavy rains, thunderstorms and floods in many states including UP, Bihar, Delhi, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal and Kerala. The next 23 hours are considered extremely sensitive.
Weather Update: The monsoon is ready to wreak havoc across the country. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains, thunderstorms and lightning in many parts of the country within today and within the next 23 hours. Red and Yellow alerts have been issued for Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, the major states of North India.
While the people of Delhi-NCR are suffering from humidity, now the mood of the weather can suddenly change. The Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of strong winds, lightning and heavy rain in the next few hours.
Bihar at the mouth of flood!

Things are constantly deteriorating in Bihar. Due to heavy rains, the water level of Ganga and Budhi Gandak rivers is increasing rapidly. Water has started filling in many low -lying areas. Although water had not reached the houses till Tuesday evening, the crops standing in the fields have been submerged. The Ganges river is flowing 33 cm above the danger mark, due to which large areas have come under the threat of floods.
A little relief to Rajasthan

Heavy rain alert in Himachal
Kullu, Chamba, Mandi and Kangra districts of Himachal Pradesh have been warned of heavy to very heavy rainfall within the next three hours. Also, Yellow alert has been issued in view of the possibility of floods and landslides in districts like Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur, Shimla, Solan and Hamirpur. The state government has asked the local administration to be vigilant.
Orange alert in 9 districts of Kerala
Talking about South India, Orange Alert has been issued for 9 districts like Ernakulam, Thrissur, Idukki, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasargod in Kerala. There is a possibility of torrential rains in these districts within the next 24 hours. Yellow alert has been issued for Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha and Kottayam districts.
This period of rain across the country can greatly affect life. It is very important to take the warning of the Meteorological Department seriously. While heavy rains can provide relief in temperature, disasters like floods, landslides and lightning are also ready to raise their heads.
