Disha Salian’s father has moved the Bombay High Court alleging rape and murder of the daughter. The father also alleged that a conspiracy was hatched to save some powerful people in this scandal.
Disha Salian’s father Satish Salian said on Wednesday that he has moved to the Bombay High Court demanding a fresh investigation into his dead in mysterious circumstances in June 2020. He said that the petition has demanded to register an FIR against Aditya Thackeray and transfer the investigation to CBI. Satish Salian told reporters that the petition also claimed that his daughter was raped and murdered. Later, politically conspiracy was hatched to save some influential persons.
On 8 June 2020, a building fell from the 14th floor of a building in Malad
It is known that Disha Salian died on June 8, 2020, falling from the 14th floor of a residential building in suburban Malad. The city police had then registered a case of accidental death report. Six days later, Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly committed suicide in his apartment in Bandra. On Thursday, BJP minister Nitesh Rane, while targeting Aditya Thackeray on Thursday, said that according to the previous decisions of the Supreme Court, if a person is accused of rape, he should be arrested. He also demanded Thackeray’s resignation as an MLA.
Rane told reporters that we have demanded this in the House (Assembly). In this regard, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Ambadas Danve, who is the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council, alleged that the BJP is behind the efforts to target Thackeray. He told reporters that the BJP -led government is free to investigate the matter. NCP (SP) leader Jitendra Awhad questioned why Disha Salian’s father remained silent for five years. Said that this is pure politics.
Trying to tarnish image, will put his side in court: Aditya Thackeray
On the other hand, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray said on Thursday that efforts are being made to tarnish his image in the case of Disha Salian’s accidental death in June 2020 and he will present his side before the court. Former Maharashtra minister Thackeray told reporters here that for the last five years, efforts are being made to tarnish my image. We will present our case in the court. We will give our reply in the court (on the allegations).
