New UPI rules apply from 1 August: Only so many times can do balance check, know what has happened and what has happened

This ban has been imposed so that the load of the server can be reduced during the busy time. Along with this, banks are also required to add balance to every financial transaction made by the user.

New Delhi: The government has implemented the new UPI rules from 1 August. Under this, a change has been made in balance checks, autope, payment failure and verification of linked accounts. The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has made several changes in the rules related to the way UPI apps like Google Pay, Paytm, Phone Pay from 1 August. Most consumers use UPI several times a day. This change is important for them. These rules are related to facilities like balance check, autope request, payment failure and verification of linked accounts. The limit of check checking has been fixed under the new rules. Now consumers can check their balance only 50 times in a day. This ban has been imposed so that the load of the server can be reduced during the busy time.

Automated payment during scheduled time

Along with this, banks are also required to add balance to every financial transaction made by the user. Recurring payments on UPI and automated transactions such as EMI, SIP or OTT subscriptions will be processed only during the stipulated time: 10 am before 10 am, 1 pm to 5 pm and 9:30 pm. This means that if your payment is payable at 11 am, it can be cut before or after. This has been done to avoid the process of automatic payment in busy time (from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm). In addition, while implementing the automatic payment order, efforts will be made again, after which the automatic payment will not be deducted.

Transaction will get immediate information

Users will be able to get information related to their mobile number only 25 times a day. Through this, customers can see the list of accounts related to their mobiles. These requests will be started only when the customer will choose the bank’s bank in the UPI app. A quick update of the transaction situation will also be available. During the busy time users often face transactions related problems, such as money debit and not receiving on the other side. From now on, the UPI app must show the actual payment position of a transaction in a few seconds, not pending or processed. The user will have only 3 opportunities to check the situation and there will be a interval of 90 seconds between the investigation. The name of the recipient will also be seen in each transaction. Whenever a user sends money through UPI, he will be able to see the registered name of the recipient before the transaction. Although these changes are not big, during busy time, the pressure on the UPI apps is being made to reduce the pressure and increase the efficiency of online payment so that more and more users adopt it.
