Nitish Kumar CM Oath: NDA has got a landslide victory in Bihar Assembly elections and with this Nitish Kumar is going to become the Chief Minister of Bihar once again. Nitish Kumar will now take oath as CM for the 10th time. On November 20, Nitish Kumar will take oath as CM at Gandhi Maidan in Patna and NDA will celebrate crossing 200. Let us tell you that today Nitish Kumar had gone to meet Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan. Official sources said that Nitish Kumar recommended dissolution of the assembly in the last cabinet meeting of the current NDA government in Bihar.

Swearing in will take place on 20th November

After the Bihar Cabinet meeting, Minister of State and BJP leader Prem Kumar said, “The swearing-in ceremony of the newly formed government will be held at Gandhi Maidan on November 20. The current government will be dissolved on the 19th. Prime Minister Modi and lakhs of people will attend this historic swearing-in ceremony.” Let us tell you, apart from PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, many Union Ministers will also attend the historic swearing-in ceremony of Nitish Kumar.

The security arrangements for the swearing-in ceremony have already started. Hi-tech security arrangements have been made for all the VVIP leaders. Police and investigating agencies are on alert mode. Due to security reasons, entry into Gandhi Maidan has been restricted for four days. Barricades have been installed around the field. Security forces have been deployed at Gandhi Maidan since Sunday evening. High-tech security screening systems including door-frame metal detectors are being installed at all entrances to the grounds.

When did Nitish become the Chief Minister?

Nitish Kumar is the leader who has been the Chief Minister for the longest time in Bihar politics. Now he is going to take over the throne of Bihar for the 10th time. He first took oath as Chief Minister in the year 2000, although he had to resign after seven days. After this he remained CM from 2005-2010. From 2010-14, he became CM with the support of BJP. After the Lok Sabha elections in 2014, he resigned from the post of CM. After this Jitan Ram Manjhi was made the Chief Minister. In 2015, Nitish again became the CM, but this time he formed the government with the Grand Alliance. However, this alliance did not last long.

In 2017, when corruption allegations were leveled against Tejashwi, Nitish also left him. Within a few hours he formed the government with BJP. In the 2020 assembly elections, Nitish formed the government with NDA. In the year 2022, once again he left BJP and joined RJD. This pairing lasted till 2024. In January 2024, Nitish again resigned and joined BJP. In this way he took oath as CM nine times. Now after winning the 2025 assembly elections, he will become the Chief Minister of Bihar state for the 10th time.
