He said that these tribes fought against the Mughals and the British with indomitable courage.

Government is doing full honest work

He said that in 1871, the British, frightened by their valor, implemented the Criminal Tribes Act and declared these communities as criminals from birth. The stigma continued till 1952 and on August 31, 1952, with the efforts of Bhimrao Ambedkar, these communities eventually became freed from this stigma. Chief Minister Adityanath said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the last 11 years, the Central and State Governments are working with full honesty for the welfare of the disciplined caste and nomadic tribes. Many schemes have been implemented in the state for their education and housing. From the platform, he instructed Social Welfare Minister Aseem Arun to set up a board for nomadic tribes and free tribes.

Everyone is getting equal opportunity without discrimination

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Jai Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Vidyalayas are being run in nine districts and two residential ashram style schools have been started, while 101 residential schools are already run in the state. Apart from this, special facilities are also being provided for the children of the members of the Vim -free tribe in 264 government hostels for the scheduled castes. Giving the example of Vantangia community, CM Adityanath said that his government gave his settlements the status of revenue villages, gave them the right to vote and also built houses, schools and hospitals for them. Similarly, schemes have been implemented for Mushar, Cole, Tharu, Gaur, Chero and Sahariya communities. He announced that the free tribes and nomadic tribes will also be given the right to land leases and voting. CM Adityanath said that the youth of nomadic tribes have been selected in police recruitment, which is proof that the government is providing equal opportunities to all sections without any discrimination.
