Not Aishwarya, this actress was offered SRK's sister's role

First choice for SRK Sister: Aishwarya Rai played Shah Rukh Khan’s sister in the film ‘Josh’ released in the year 2000. However, she was not the choice of makers for this role.

First choice for SRK sister: Bollywood film maker Mansoor Khan is known for films like ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’, ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander’ and ‘Alone Hum Akele Tum’. His film ‘Josh’ was released in the year 2000, in which Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai were in the lead roles. In ‘Josh’, Aishwarya Rai played Shahrukh’s sister. Fans liked this young pair of sister -in -law. However, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was not the first choice of the makers for the role of King Khan’s sister.

This actress approached

Mansoor Khan recently told in an interview to PTI that he had approached Kajol for the role of Shah Rukh Khan’s sister. He also narrated the script to Kajol, but the actress rejected this role. Mansoor Khan believed that Kajol should also play his sister after working with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘DDLJ’, ‘Karan Arjun’, ‘Baazigar’ and ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. However, Kajol wanted to play ‘Max’. After Kajol refuses, Aishwarya Rai was approached for Josh and she immediately filled the body for this role.

Aamir Khan is also in the film

During the interview, Mansoor Khan also revealed that he wanted to take Aamir Khan for the role of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s lover in ‘Josh’. Later this role was played by Chandrachur Singh. At the same time, Aamir Khan wanted to play a role with Max i.e. Shahrukh Khan. But Mansoor Khan always had Shah Rukh Khan in the form of Max. This is the reason that both Aamir Khan and Kajol kept working in this film. Talk about ‘Josh’, it was released in the year 2000, which besides Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai and Chandrachur Singh, besides Priya Gill, Sharad Kapoor and Sushant Singh. Many years after this film, Mansoor Khan along with Aamir Khan launched his nephew Imran Khan in Bollywood. Imran’s first film was ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ which was released in 2008. In this romantic comedy film, Emraan Khan also stars Genelia D’Souza, Prateek Babbar, Manjari Fadnis and Ayaz Khan in important roles.
