Weather disrupted PM Modi’s visit
On the 50th anniversary of the state of Sikkim, PM Modi said that I wanted to be a part of Sikkim’s formation in Gangtok, but the weather disturbed it. The Prime Minister said that the NDA government is dedicated to India to make a superpower in sports and we want the states of the Nahru, including Sikkim, should play this important role. He said that there is immense possibility of becoming the center of adventure sports in Sikkim. Apart from this, PM Modi, referring to achievements in other areas of the state, said that exports of Sikkim organic products are increasing, which is a big achievement as a state. Also, the Sevoke-Rangpo project is being worked on to connect the Himalayan state to the country’s rail network. PM Modi said that Sikkim is rich in biodiversity and the state has set an example to protect nature.
