MNF strongly opposed the law

He said that MNF also urges that the proposal passed by the state assembly on August 27 should not be sent to the Lok Sabha Secretariat because Mizo is against the interests of the people. Jongte further stated that MNF FCAA strongly opposed 2023, as it gives high authority to the Center, which is not safe for Mizo people.
There will be many problems
The Zoro and the Chief Judicial Magistrate reiterated the concern of MNF and demanded the withdrawal of the proposal and threatened the agitation for the government not taking action. Zoro vice -president Raminaliana Ranthalei said that this law can cause serious problems for the indigenous community as the central government can grab their lands due to exemption given to an area of 100 km bordering international borders, which allows the central government to start strategic linear projects related to national importance and national security without taking forest approval. He said that adopting FCAA 2023 would violate the rights of the Mizo people inherent in Article 371G of the Indian Constitution, stating that no act of the Parliament related to land ownership and transfer would be applicable in Mizoram until it is approved by the Legislative Assembly.
