India’s Revenge on Pahalgam Attack: After the Pahalgam terror attack, many drastic steps were taken from the country, due to which the Indian aircraft for Pakistani aircraft was banned.
India’s Revenge on Pahalgam Attack: The terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir on 22 April, has caused deep shock to the entire country. 26 innocent people were brutally murdered in this attack. After which the government launched Operation Sindoor to give a response to this and destroyed 9 terrorist hideouts. Along with this, the government had also taken many strict steps, such as postponing the Indus Water Treaty. An important decision in all these was also that Indian airspace had been imposed on the Indian aircraft for Pakistani aircraft. At the same time, India has extended the period of keeping its airspace for Pakistani aircraft for one month to 24 August.
Banage extended for one month
Since the Pahalgam attack, India has shut down its airspace for Pakistani airlines and operators, owned or leased, including military flights since April 30. At the same time, by avoiding this decision, the government has increased its period to 24 August. On this, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Muralidhar Mohol said, “The ban on entry into the Indian air border for Pakistani aircraft has now been extended to 23 August 2025 (UTC time), that is, this ban will be applicable till 5:30 am on August 24, according to Indian time.” Let me tell you, Mohol said in a post late on Tuesday night that this expansion reflects constant strategic ideas and is in line with the current security protocol.

Awadhi has increased earlier also
Let us tell you that this is not the first time that the Indian government has extended the period of keeping its airspace for Pakistani aircraft for one month. Even before this, the government has done this. Initially after the Pahalgam attack, when the government stopped its airstrikes from April 30, its ban was to end on May 24, then its period was extended till 24 June. After which it was again extended till 24 July. At the same time, once again the government has banned it till 24 August.
Pakistan’s copy on India’s move
After the Government of India suspended the Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan, the terrorist country banned its airspace for India on 24 May by 24 May. After this, as India was increasing the period of ban for Pakistani aircraft on its airspace, in the same way Pakistan was also increasing the period of its airspace ban for India. Pakistan first banned India from 24 April to 24 May, then extended it till 24 June. After this, it was extended till July 24 and then for a month.
