Tejashwi Yadav said in a press conference in Patna, if the Grand Alliance government is formed in Bihar, then Panchayat representatives will be given insurance of Rs 50 lakh.

During the press conference, Tejashwi Yadav also made many big announcements. He said that the honorarium of three-tier Panchayat representatives and Gram Kachari representatives will be doubled. Pension will be started for Gram Kachari representatives. Panchayat representatives and Gram Kachari representatives have demanded pension and we will work on it. We have decided to give pension. He will also get an insurance of Rs 50 lakh. Apart from this, Tejashwi has also made a big promise to the small artisans of Bihar like blacksmiths and potters.

Small artisans will get assistance of Rs 5 lakh

Tejashwi Yadav further said, “We will work to ensure honorarium of public distribution system distributors. Margin money per quintal will be increased.” The age limit for compassionate benefits will also be increased for people covered under the public distribution system. Will provide interest-free assistance of Rs 5 lakh for five years to hard-working potters, blacksmiths and carpenters for self-employment.

‘Will make Bihar number 1 in 20 months’

Tejashwi Yadav said, “The campaign has started and Bihar is eager for change. Wherever we are going, people of all castes and religions are coming to support us in large numbers. People are fed up with the current government and want to change it. Corruption and crime are at their peak in this government… People have understood the BJP…” We just need 20 months from the people of Bihar. We will work to make Bihar number one.

Let us tell you, Bihar Assembly elections are going to be held in two phases. Voting will be held on 121 seats of Bihar in the first phase on 6th November. In the second phase, voting will be held on 122 seats on November 11. After this, votes will be counted on November 14 and results will be released.
