Toll Policy: The Ministry of Transport is working on a toll policy to benefit the bus operators running on national highways in the country. Private and government buses will also benefit from this.
Toll Policy : The Ministry of Transport is working on a toll policy to benefit the state and private bus operators using national highways. Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari (Nitin Gadkari) Said that the government has already started a fast-based annual pass for non-commercial vehicles, taking a step towards the hassle-free journey on highways. It is valid from the date of activation to one year or 200 visits. This pass is specifically designed for non-commercial private vehicles such as cars, jeeps and vans.
Work will be done on a toll policy
Addressing BOCI’s India Migration Awards, Nitin Gadkari said that we are working fast on a toll policy to benefit the state and private operators using national highways. He also said that the government has identified 10 highway segments for the operation of green hydrogen powered trucks in different parts of the country with the aim of reducing vehicles pollution. The Union Minister informed that hydrogen filling stations will be done by India Oil and Reliance Petroleum on these sections.
Filling stations will be made with hydrogen
He further said that Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland and Volvo have already started making hydrogen -powered filling stations. Apart from this, the blocks identified include Greater Noida-Delhi-Agra, Bhubaneswar-Puri-Konark, Ahmedabad-Vadodara-Surat, Sahibabad-Faridabad-Delhi, Jamshedpur-Kalingnagar, Thiruvananthapuram-Kochi and Jamnagar-Ahmedabad etc. Gadkari also said that 750 roadside facilities are being made on private land on the banks of National Highways. On the other hand, the Union Minister also said that institutions like Automobile Manufacturer and Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) have shared their conclusion about a mixture of ethanol in petrol. He also said that the way your industry works, in the same way the politics of the country also works.
