Congress leader Sachin Pilot: Congress leader Sachin Pilot alleged that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s love for power and chair is more than that of the people of the state. Speaking to journalists in Patna, Pilot also said that after the assembly election results, the crutch of BJP in Bihar will be taken away. Pilot said that contrary to its claim of crossing 400, BJP could not get even 250 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. It had to depend on the crutches of Bihar and Andhra Pradesh to form the government at the Centre. He alleged that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has become helpless in front of BJP. Pilot said that this is the same Nitish Kumar who had put Narendra Modi in the dock. Now the allure of the Chief Minister’s chair has made him helpless. Congress leader Pilot said that the ‘double engine’ that NDA leaders keep talking about has failed on all fronts.
There was no development under Nitish rule
Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he asked why Modi ji did a road show in Bihar. But how many promises has he fulfilled regarding Bihar? Said that promises like implementing a package of Rs 1.25 lakh crore, bringing investment, ensuring employment and doubling the income of farmers were fulfilled. He alleged that the roads on which the Prime Minister held the road show were the same roads on which students were beaten up when they protested against unemployment and other issues. Citing the NDA’s election manifesto, Pilot alleged that the alliance is misleading the people by making new false promises, while the old assurances are still incomplete. He said that NDA had the opportunity to work for the development of Bihar in the last 20 years, but it has failed to do so. NDA keeps making new promises.
State struggling with migration and unemployment
He claimed that Bihar is struggling with migration and unemployment and only a change in the government can save people from this situation. Pilot assured that whatever promises the Grand Alliance has made in its manifesto will be fulfilled. Regarding the promise of jobs, he said that if there is determination then it is possible to provide extensive employment to the youth. He expressed confidence that the Grand Alliance will easily cross the magic figure of majority in the Bihar Assembly elections. On the arrest of JDU candidate Anant Singh from Mokama, Pilot said that the arrest was made due to public pressure. This is not an isolated incident. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is directly responsible for these incidents.
