The PM flagged off 4 Vande Bharat Trains: Prime Minister Modi has gifted four new Vande Bharat Express trains to the country. On Saturday, PM Modi flagged off four Vande Bharat Express trains from Varanasi railway station. The most special among these is the Vande Bharat Express going from Varanasi to Khajuraho, which is being considered a big gift for the people of Varanasi and Purvanchal. The Prime Minister flagged off these trains from Banaras Railway Station. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present on this occasion. Apart from this, PM Modi virtually flagged off three more Vande Bharat Express trains, which are Lucknow to Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express, Firozpur to Delhi Vande Bharat Express and Ernakulam to Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express.

Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express
The launch of Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will give a boost to religious and cultural tourism. This train will connect religious and cultural places like Varanasi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot and Khajuraho. The government hopes that this will not only boost religious and cultural tourism, but will also provide modern and comfortable rail connectivity to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Khajuraho for pilgrims and tourists.
Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express
Vande Bharat Express from Lucknow to Saharanpur will complete its journey in approximately 7 hours 45 minutes, which will save about 1 hour of time compared to the existing special trains. This new Vande Bharat Express train will benefit the passengers of Lucknow, Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Bijnor and Saharanpur. It will also improve connectivity to Haridwar via Roorkee. This will strengthen rail connectivity in central and western Uttar Pradesh.
Firozpur-Delhi Vande Bharat express
Firozpur-Delhi Vande Bharat will be the fastest train on this route, which will complete the journey in 6 hours 40 minutes. This express train will strengthen the connectivity between the country’s capital and Bathinda and Patiala of Punjab. This is expected to increase trade, tourism and employment opportunities and help in socio-economic development of border areas.
Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express
KSR Bengaluru-Ernakulam Vande Bharat Express will provide seamless connectivity between Kerala’s commercial capital Ernakulam and metropolitan Bengaluru. This train will pass through major cities of Kerala and Tamil Nadu like Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode and Salem. This service will benefit IT professionals, businessmen, students and others. With the addition of this new train, a total of 12 pairs of Vande Bharat trains will run under the jurisdiction of Southern Railway.

Our endeavor is to make it easy for everyone to come to Varanasi, stay in Varanasi and experience the facilities of Varanasi. It is our government’s effort to give a special experience to everyone. As soon as the PM flagged off the trains, passengers chanted “Har Har Mahadev”.
