Former Chief Justice Sushila Karki has been made the head of the interim government in Nepal. He was sworn in as the interim Prime Minister of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first response to the formation of a new government in the neighboring country has come to light. PM Modi congratulated the social media platform X and wrote that India is fully committed to Nepal’s progress and prosperity.

India’s support to Sushila

Sushila Karki is considered a supporter of India, however, KP Sharma Oli was considered a supporter of China. Sushila also praised PM Narendra Modi before becoming the caretaker Prime Minister. He had said that he is impressed with PM Narendra Modi and also praised his functioning.

How the dispute started in Nepal

In Nepal, the younger generation was continuously protesting against corruption by sharing videos on social media and also announced to unite in a way. However, generation-Z had not yet come on the streets. Meanwhile, the Oli government of Nepal decided to ban the social media platform and after that Jane-Z came out on the streets and started directly opposing the government. The Oli government began to be accused that he shot the youth who were protesting peacefully where 19 people died. After this, generation-Z people were enraged and started moving rapidly towards Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. On seeing this, this movement turned from peaceful to violent. It is being told that 51 people, including an Indian citizen, died in the Jane Z demonstration.
