Many elderly saints associated with the temple movement also participated in this program. Many people expressed their sentiments saying that they had never thought that they would see the completion of Ram Temple in their lifetime. Gopal Rao, a special guest of Ram Mandir Trust, said that the entire ceremony will be held in the presence of Prime Minister Modi and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. The Prime Minister will reach the temple at 10 am and will remain there till around 1:30 pm. During this, he will have darshan, puja, hoist the flag and address the people. Priest Bajrang Pandey told that the last phase of the Yagya is going on, in which the sacrifice will be made between 7 am to 9 am. The yagya will resume after the Prime Minister’s program. Scholars and Vedic experts from different states across the country are taking part in this ritual. Meanwhile, tight security arrangements have been made in the city. About 6,970 security personnel including ATS commandos, NSG snipers, cyber teams and technical experts have been deployed. To ensure control over the situation, anti-drone systems and high-tech surveillance equipment have been activated around the temple.

importance of flag

The saffron flag that Prime Minister Modi will hoist will be 10 feet high and 20 feet long. It is a right-angled triangular flag with the symbol of the shining sun, ‘Om’ and the Kovidara tree, which symbolizes the valor of Lord Rama. This flag will be hoisted on the traditional Nagar-style peak of the temple. The Prime Minister’s event is falling on the auspicious Panchami of Margashirsha month, which also coincides with the auspicious Panchami (wedding) of Ram and Sita. The temple complex also has beautiful stone carvings from Valmiki Ramayana and bronze sculptures typical of Indian culture. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also inspected the place to take stock of the preparations for the function and directed to keep all the arrangements in order.
