PM Modi North East Visit : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a tour of Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura. He reached Itanagar this morning where he interacted with traders and taxpayers. In this episode, the PM took the reaction of the traders to the new GST rates. After this, laid the foundation stone of projects worth more than Rs 5,000 crore. Addressing the people, he said that he likes the North East heartily. He has made his ministers mandatory during the North East. He further said that he himself has traveled to North East more than 70 times while being PM. After this, he will reach the Mata Tripura Sundari temple complex where, will inaugurate the development works of the temple complex.
Inauguration of projects over Rs 5,000 crore
Here PM Modi inaugurated a project worth more than Rs 5,000 crore. He first arrived at the Hollangi’s Doni Polo Airport, after which he reached Raj Bhavan in Itanagar by helicopter.

He then went to Indira Gandhi and unveiled development projects and addressed the rally. PM Modi laid the foundation stone of Tato and Aao Hydroelectric Projects, both will be developed on the Yarjeep River in Shi Yomi district.
Target against opposition
Addressing the people in Itanagar, PM Modi said that a part of the tax that is collected in the country is given to the states. When the Congress was government, Arunachal Pradesh received only Rs 6,000 crore from the Central Tax in 10 years. At the same time, Arunachal has got more than one lakh crore rupees in 10 years of BJP.
Project will be built at a cost of Rs 1,939 crore
At the same time, the 240 MW heio project will also be developed by the state government and Neepco at a cost of Rs 1,939 crore. Under this, 100 crore units of electricity are expected to be produced every year. Modi inaugurated a convention center constructed at a cost of Rs 145.37 crore under the PM-Devine scheme in Tawang. This center with a capacity of more than 1,500 people will meet global standards and promote the region’s tourism and cultural capacity.
