Andhra Pradesh Bus Fire Accident : The accident that happened with a bus in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh shook the common people and 19 passengers died in this incident. Andhra Pradesh Police made a big revelation on Sunday about two bike riders related to the incident. Police said that both the bike riders were drunk at the time of the incident and the bus caught fire after the collision with their bike. Police said that the main cause of the fire was the explosion of two 12 KV batteries installed in the bus. Meanwhile, Kurnool Range DIG Koya Praveen said that the fire in the bus had spread from two places, first due to the bursting of the fuel tank of the bike and second from near the toolkit of the bus.

There were 44 passengers in the bus

Let us tell you that in the early hours of October 24, a sleeper bus crushed a two-wheeler, which had already met with an accident, in Chinna Tekuru village of Kurnool district. There were 44 passengers in the bus and many people managed to escape. The two-wheeler was dragged under the bus, causing its fuel tank to burst and catch fire. Meanwhile, DIG Koya Praveen said that we have just received forensic confirmation that the two persons riding the bike (Shiv Shankar and Ari Swami) were drunk. Although the police knew that both were intoxicated, they did not confirm this as they were waiting for forensic evidence.

CCTV footage surfaced from petrol pump

Regarding the two accused riding a bike, the DIG said on Saturday night that both of them had eaten food at a dhaba and Swamy had admitted to drinking alcohol. According to the police, Shankar and Swamy had left Lakshmipuram village at around 2 am on October 24 on a two-wheeler to drop Swamy at Duggali village in Kurnool district.

Kurnool Superintendent of Police Vikrant Patil said that on the way, both of them had stopped at HP petrol pump near the car showroom at 2:24 am to fill petrol. During this time, a CCTV footage also surfaced, in which Shankar was seen driving the vehicle carelessly. When he started riding the bike once again, the motorcycle slipped, due to which Shankar fell on the right side and collided with the divider and died on the spot. It is being told that in the last few days, there has been heavy rain in many southern states and due to this the roads have become muddy. Patil told that when Swamy pulled Shankar in the middle of the road and examined him, he died on the spot.
