Bihar Election 2025 : Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court ordered framing of charges against RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, former Chief Minister Rabri Devi and former Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav in the IRCTC scam. Special Judge Vishal Gogane told Lalu Prasad Yadav that he conspired in the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) and misused his position as a public servant. Also, irregularities were committed in getting the tender. After such statements of the court, politics has heated up in Bihar and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party has become the aggressor. BJP on Monday launched a scathing attack on RJD and claimed that scams, rigging in awarding government contracts and grabbing people’s land by promising jobs is RJD’s governance model.
Grabbed poor people’s land
Senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said in the press conference that Tejashwi is going to replace Yadav as a Delhi court will frame charges against him under section 420 (section 420 of the erstwhile Penal Code, which mentions cheating). Referring to the allegations leveled against Tejashwi Yadav and his family members in the alleged corruption case, the former Union Minister said that they allegedly grabbed land from poor people by promising them jobs. He questioned whether this is the social justice that Tejashwi and his family members talk about. He alleged that eating fodder, drinking bitumen, rigging government contracts and grabbing land by promising jobs is Lalu Prasad’s model.

BJP leaders have advised not to fall prey to Tejashwi Yadav’s promise of providing jobs. He said that you will not get a job in the state, but you will definitely have to lose your land. This is nothing but an act of revenge politics.
