Prime Minister Modi will go to Madhya Pradesh on 31 May

The Prime Minister will inaugurate Datia and Satna airports to promote air connectivity to the end of the state.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Madhya Pradesh on 31 May on the occasion of 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar. Prime Minister Modi will participate in Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Women Empowerment General Conference in Bhopal. The ceremony will start at around 11:15 am. During this, Modi will also lay the foundation stone and inauguration of many development projects in Bhopal. Modi will also address a public function. Prime Minister Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai will issue a memorial postage stamp and a special coin dedicated to Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai along with attending the Women Empowerment Mahasammelan. There will be a picture of Ahilyabai Holkar on a coin of 300 rupees.

Development projects will lay the foundation stone

On this occasion, the Prime Minister will also present the National Devi Ahilyabai Award to a female artist for his contribution to tribal, folk and traditional arts. The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the construction of more than Rs 860 crore on the Kshipra River related to the upcoming Simhastha Mahakumbh 2028 in Ujjain. The government will construct various infrastructure like stop dams, barrage and vented coseways to control the water flow of rivers.

Aerial facilities will increase

To promote air connectivity to the end, Prime Minister Datia and Satna will inaugurate airports, which will open new opportunities for industry, tourism, education and healthcare in the Vindhya region. In order to facilitate the journey in cities, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate passenger services at the Super Priti Corridor of the Yellow Line of Indore Metro. This will facilitate comfortable travel to passengers along with decrease in traffic and pollution.

Will give first installment for building construction

The Prime Minister will transfer the first installment of more than Rs 480 crore for the construction of 1,271 Atal village good governance buildings. With the construction of these buildings, the villagers will get a lot of facilities. Gram Panchayats will be helped in management of administrative works, organizing meetings and maintaining records more efficiently.
