The water level of Yamuna river flows above the danger mark, due to which the water has reached many areas of Civil Lines and Delhi Secretariat. During this time, the Meteorological Department has advised people to be vigilant and also issued an alert for Delhi. Along with this, alert has also been issued in Sonipat, Palwal, Faridabad, Noida and Ghaziabad.

Yamuna above the danger mark for three days

Please tell here that for the last 3 days, the Yamuna river is flowing above the danger mark 205.33 meters and its water level reached 207.43 meters last night. Due to this, the entire Khadar area has been flooded and the Yamuna market has been flooded up to 8 feet. The effect of this was that the water reached the Ring Road Civil Lines area, the Delhi Secretariat and the Kashmiri Gate ISBT. The CM house is only two kilometers away from the place where water has reached the civil lines.

It will rain till 6 September

The rains have caused havoc to the mountainous areas, taking the plains. The Yamuna river passing through Delhi is in spate due to continuous release of water. IMD has issued rain alert for Delhi till 6 September. Apart from this, rain is being expected in the whole of North India including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu.

Destruction due to heavy rains in Punjab

Destruction is being seen in Punjab due to heavy rains. If the Meteorological Department believes, there will be a big change in the weather soon. People will get relief due to reduced havoc. Due to continuous heavy rains and floods in many states, the government has declared the state a disaster affected state. The government has announced to close in schools and colleges by 7 September. Many stars have also come forward to save Punjab.

Monsoon speed slowed in UP

IMD has told in many states of UP that the speed of monsoon has slowed down. During this period, the maximum temperature will rise by 2 degrees Celsius at different places from September 4. However, there will be no change in it since then.
