His statement came after Trump’s claim in which he said that his friend Prime Minister Modi has assured him that India will stop buying oil from Russia. He described this step as a big step towards increasing pressure on Moscow regarding the attack on Ukraine. Rahul Gandhi wrote on X that Prime Minister Modi is scared of Trump. Allow Trump to decide and announce whether India will buy oil from Russia or not. Apart from this, despite being repeatedly ignored, they keep sending congratulatory messages.
