He told PTI video that our campaign will start immediately after Chhath Puja. I think Rahul Gandhi will come here on 29th and 30th October. People get angry due to ticket deduction: Gehlot
When former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was asked about this, he told reporters that in every election many people aspire for tickets and when their hopes are dashed, they get angry. But I would appeal to all of them not to express their grievances until the elections are over. He said that we are on the threshold of creating history. The senior leader said that declaring RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav as the chief ministerial candidate of the grand alliance has given a positive signal. He said that a young politician always has the passion to work hard, he knows that if he does not live up to the expectations of the people, he will ruin his career. Taking aim at JD(U) President and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Gehlot alleged that he has tarnished his reputation by doing too many political upsets. At the last stage of his political career, he should consider to what depth he has fallen.
People are fed up with Nitish
Gehlot said that at one time he was considered worthy of becoming the Prime Minister of the country. Now the people of Bihar are fed up with him. They want to vote for change. She also accused the BJP of “looting the public”, citing the example of electoral bonds, of which it was the biggest beneficiary until the Supreme Court declared it unconstitutional. Gehlot alleged that but regrettably, the money he had earned through electoral bonds remains with him only. They use it to bribe voters during elections. Opposition leaders get notices from ED and CBI for transactions worth one-two crores, but BJP is spending lakhs without fear. He further said that even the recently launched scheme in Bihar, under which Rs 10,000 was transferred to the accounts of one crore women a few days before the elections were announced, was nothing but an attempt to buy votes. The senior Congress leader claimed that people have understood the game.
