Dhurandhar Box Office: Ranveer Singh starrer film ‘Dhurandhar’ has done what very few films can do in just 10 days of its release. This high-octane spy thriller of director Aditya Dhar has earned Rs 552.70 crore at the worldwide box office. With this, this film has become the biggest global blockbuster of the year. ‘Dhurandhar’, which was released in theaters on December 5, received tremendous love from the audience from the very first day. The film earned a net worth of Rs 58.20 crore on the second Sunday i.e. on the 10th day of its release in India, which is said to be the biggest Sunday collection in the history of Hindi cinema.

With this, the total net collection of ‘Dhurandhar’ in India has reached Rs 364.60 crore. If we talk about gross collection, the film’s earnings in India have reached Rs 430.20 crore, while the film has collected Rs 122.50 crore from the overseas market. This means that Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ continues to be popular both in the country and abroad. The film had a spectacular opening of Rs 218 crore in its first week itself. After this, it earned Rs 34.70 crore on the second Friday, Rs 53.70 crore on the second Saturday and then a record-breaking Rs 58.20 crore on the second Sunday. According to the makers, the film has broken all the records of Hindi cinema on all three days – second Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The makers recently said that the journey of ‘Dhurandhar’ is fantastic and breaking records. Since the first Monday, every day’s earnings have been more than the previous day. Houseful shows, midnight screenings and continuous shows in theaters are proof that the craze of the film is not stopping among the audience. By the way, ‘Dhurandhar’ is a powerful spy thriller, in which we get a glimpse of some of the most sensitive and special geo-political incidents of India. The story of the film is based on the backdrop of Kandahar hijack 2001, Parliament attack and 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. A major part of the story is set in the Lyari area of Karachi, which is known for gang war and politics.

However, in terms of second weekend earnings, ‘Dhurandhar’ has defeated ‘Pushpa 2’ (128 crores), ‘Chhaava’ (109.23 crores), ‘Stree 2’ (93.85 crores), ‘Gadar 2’ (90.47 crores), ‘Animal’ (87.56 crores), ‘Jawaan’ (82.46 crores), ‘Baahubali 2’ (80.75 crores), ‘Sayira’. (75.50 crore) and ‘Dangal’ (73.70 crore) have also been left behind.
