Out of which the recruitment process for 530 posts has been started. 2079 Anganwadi centers are being operated in the district. Where 1370 workers have been deployed while 709 Anganwadi posts are vacant.
Out of the vacant posts, 555 were to be admitted for selection in the year 2023, for which a large number of women applied, but even after this, 25 posts were left vacant due to no application. The recruitment process was stuck due to pending case for about one and a half years. Once again, the recruitment process for 530 posts has been started in the month of March. After examining the online applications, preparation list has been prepared and published on the instructions of the government.
Crowd of applicants flocking in DPO office
In the first priority, BPL class widow and divorced women have been included. If they are not available, then in second priority, destitute, divorced and then other APL category women are to be selected. For this, crowds of applicants are thronging the DPO office every day. In this, women are being selected on priority basis. In the recruitment process, 14 Divyang, three freedom fighters and 44 widows have been given priority. Their selection is being considered almost certain. Whereas the remaining posts will be selected on priority basis under the mandate.
Each Anganwadi workers have to give the responsibility of two centers. They are also centers that are far away from each other. Due to which other departmental works including nutrition distribution are being affected. The list has been published on the basis of increase. Women will be selected from the list itself. The final list will be published soon after completing the process.
