Ladakh News : In Leh city of Ladakh, on Tuesday, the administration has relaxed something in curfew for a week. After this, gradually due to the open markets, the brightness has started returning once again and the people who are closed have also got relief. Earlier on Monday, the ban was lifted from 4 pm to two hours. There was a fierce clash between the protesters and security personnel and only then the administration decided to impose curfew. A police officer said that the news of violent incident has not come out from anywhere except Wednesday. Apart from this, police and paramilitary forces have also been deployed in sensitive areas.
Relief in curfew in some areas
The police officer said that strict monitoring is being done to maintain law and order and keeping in mind the situation, the curfew was relaxed from 10 am to around 2 pm on Tuesday, increased the situation and extended to 5 pm. However, the shopkeepers were closed on time under relaxation. Officials said that the situation is completely under control at the moment and exemption has been given even after 5 pm. However, the shopkeepers were not given more relief from more than three hours. He said that there was a crowd of people and the movement of vehicles on all the routes was going on, but educational institutions were closed.

At the same time, in addition to Leh, District Magistrate Ghulam Mohammad had already ordered to open all grocery stores, essential services, hardware and vegetable shops during the lax. Earlier, curfew was relaxed in different areas from 1 pm to around 3.30 pm. Officials said that mobile internet services in Lehar city are still suspended and more than five people have been banned from gathering in other major parts of the Union Territory including Kargil. At the same time, Lieutenant Governor Kavindra Gupta is reviewing Ladakh every day by meeting high level meeting. On Monday, he appealed to the residents of Ladakh to maintain peace and described it as the foundation stone of development. The Lieutenant Governor urged all sections to maintain unity and harmony and advised not to fall prey to anti-national forces. At the same time, the administration is standing strongly with the public and is ready to ensure their respect, security and progress.
