Monsoon Havoc in Himachal: The local weather center has issued yellow warnings of rain and lightning in different areas of the state on Sunday and Monday.

Monsoon havoc in Himachal: Himachal Pradesh has lost Rs 4,079 crore due to cloudburst, sudden floods and landslides due to heavy rains from 20 June to 7 September. Officials said on Sunday that 366 people have died in rain and road accidents in the state so far. According to the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC), 203 out of these 366 people died in rain -related incidents, out of which 42 deaths occurred in landslides, 17 cloudbursts and nine sudden floods. 41 people are still missing and 163 people died in accidents. A total of 6,025 houses and 455 shops/factories are completely or partially damaged. The incidents of landslides are increasing with every passing day and many parts of the state have been destroyed due to 135 major landslides, 95 sudden floods and 45 cloudburst since the onset of monsoon on 20 June.

Traffic stopped, trouble increased

A total of 869 roads including three national highways -NH -3 (Mandi -Dharampur Road), NH -5 (Old Hindustan -Tibet Road) and NH -305 (Aut -Sainge Road) are closed for traffic. 1,572 power transformers and 389 water supply schemes are interrupted. Kullu region has the highest number of 227 roads closed. After this, 191 roads are closed in Mandi, 154 in Shimla region and 116 in Chamba region. Shimla-thiyog at the center of apple belt in Shimla district. Rohru businessman Bhur Sen said that we are stranded here since Saturday evening. The weather is bad and we are transporting apples to the markets, but due to the closure of roads, the problems of producers are increasing. Meanwhile, the search and rescue operations were closed on Saturday at Bharmour-Manimahesh in Chamba district.

Helpline number -98166-98166 released

Deputy Commissioner Chamba Mukesh Repswal has appealed to the general public that if his family members are still missing, they should give information on District Helpline No -98166-98166 and share. Officials said that 17 Manimahesh pilgrims have died since the Manimahesh Yatra started on August 15. Light rain was seen in some parts of the state and Manali received 24.2 mm of rain from Saturday evening. This was followed by 16.8 mm in Naina Devi, 16.5 mm in Dhaulakuan, 13.1 mm in Nahan, 12 mm in Rampur Bushahar, 11.6 mm in Kufri, 10.4 mm in Kothi and 10 mm in Bharmour, while Shimla, Jubbadhatti, Jubbadhatti, Kangra, Kufri and plowing received rain. The local weather center has issued a yellow warning of rain and lightning in different areas of the state on Sunday and Monday. Himachal received an average rainfall of 943.2 mm more than the normal rainfall of 648.1 mm from 1 June to 6 September, which is 46 percent more.
