Mumbai: A Mumbai court has taken a tough stand against actress Malaika Arora on disregarding the court. The court has warned of issuing non-bailable warrants against Malaika. A Mumbai court noted that actress Malaika Arora is not deliberately avoiding legal proceedings rather than witnessing her co-star Saif Ali Khan in the 2012 hotel dispute case. The court gave him the last chance and warned him to issue a non-bailable warrant.

Even after the warrant was issued on April 29

The court is angry that Arora did not appear in the court even a few days after the bailable warrant was issued on 29 April. The court said that despite being aware of the summons issued to Arora, she is deliberately avoiding court proceedings. Arora was among those who went to eat food with Khan at a Panchtara Hotel on 22 February 2012, when the incident took place. The court had already issued a bailable warrant against the actress and directed her to appear on April 29.

However, when Arora did not appear in court, Chief Judicial Magistrate KS Jhanwar found that a lawyer representing Arora was present in the court. The court said that despite the information, she (Arora) is deliberately trying to avoid court proceedings. Giving the actress the last chance, the court fixed the next hearing of the case on 9 July and said that if Arora does not appear that day, a non -bailable warrant will be issued. The court first issued a bailable warrant against Arora on 15 February. It was re -released on 8 April when he did not appear.
