Amethi: The Samajwadi Party MP on Sunday described the announcement of the government to calculate the caste as part of the general census as a big victory for the PDA and socialists. The MP said that the Center had to bow down to their collective strength. Azamgarh MP Dharmendra Yadav said during a private program at Amethi’s residence of party leader Jai Singh Yadav that this is our ideological and political victory.

He said that the Center’s decision to conduct caste census is the result of constant pressure of PDA and socialist forces. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav created a brief name of PDA to show backward classes or “backward”, Dalits and minorities or “minorities”. Azamgarh MP Dharmendra Yadav also said that the BJP -led government knows that the future is of the Samajwadi Party and the comprehensive socialist movement. He said that if the BJP government had not taken this step, the next Samajwadi Party government would definitely have done caste census. The MP said that the Center had to bow down to their collective strength.

He also expressed confidence in the Samajwadi Party’s possibilities in the 2027 assembly elections and said that under the leadership of Akhilesh Yadav, the party will contest elections with full force and form the government with a clear majority.

He said that the PDA has already shown its strength in Amethi and will do so in the entire state in the next elections.
